  • Cleaning and Sterilization Requirements: Catheter mandrels should be easily cleaned and sterilized to ensure the sanitary and sterile nature of the final catheter product. Material selection should take into account the chemicals and methods used in the cleaning and sterilization process, as well as the resistance of the material.
  •  Cost: The cost of materials is also an important consideration. The cost of different materials may vary considerably.
